Happy Anniversary GCC!

Thanks to our dedicated employees and loyal customers, GCC Celebrates 34 Years in Business This Month!

On April 1st 1979, Paul Denaro began General Communications in a small office on Mystic Avenue in Medford. Upon outgrowing this space in 1987, GCC created a fulfilling relationship with Cummings Park in Woburn which has been our home for over two decades. Although our industry has transformed enormously in the last 34 years, Paul Denaro remains GCC’s President and reaffirms the guiding principles that keep us mindful that our success is the relationships that our employees nurture and work hard to maintain. Our employees are a team of talented experts working as technical, engineering, administrative and sales professional positions offering a range of services and products to over 2,000 esteemed customers.

Our founding principle encourages longevity in employee and customer relationships. Not a day goes by that an employee with 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 years is not greeted as if it were there first day on the job. And when a customer’s name comes up in passing, Paul will want to know what we are doing for them and if we are paying attention to the little details like sweeping the floor after cabling and removing cartons that equipment or phones are shipped in.

2013 is already an exciting year. Businesses are taking advantage of a growing market and General Communications has doubled down by hiring many new employees.  With the help of these new additions and our existing rock stars, General Communications has expanded our offerings to include Managed IT services, SIP Trunking, Telephone Bill Auditing and have added Video Conferencing and the Allworx brand of telephones into our lineup.

We are thankful for all of our dedicated and hard working employees who have proven time and time again to go the extra mile for our customers. And of course we would like to thank you, our customers, for your loyalty and business throughout the years. Please let us know if there is any way we can be of service to you.

Sincerely,

Paul Denaro, President and Founder

General Communications Corporation
