GCC Events!

Thanks for Making the 2014 ShoreTel Users Group a Success!

We missed those of you who were unable to attend this year’s users group. Everyone rated the Café Escadrille as a terrific venue.

The attendees were enthusiastic, with good questions and participation. A main takeaway from the meeting was exploring how ShoreTel is not leaving premise-based customers behind as they explore new opportunities in the cloud. As of today, ShoreTel will be offering a suite of cloud-based applications which will continue to grow. Premise-based customers can purchase licenses for these applications on a monthly subscription basis, eliminating the need to buy on-site servers. Currently E-Fax and Scribe (voice to text) applications are available, and by March of next year we will see applications for Fixed/Mobile Convergence, Enterprise Contact Center, Collaboration such as Telephony/Desktop Integration and File Sharing, Web/Audio/Video Conferencing, Presence, PC to PC Video Chat and much more.

It was a great pleasure to welcome new ShoreTel users Thad Stewart from Felton and Berlin of Peabody and Karl Kaltenbach, Al Daneau and Jenna Fraser from Connoisseurs of Woburn, both GCC customers for approximately 20 years.

Jenna Fraser of Connoisseurs was the lucky raffle winner of the iPad mini and Brian Price of AMTI won the ShoreTel dock.

We view the GCC Shoretel Users Group as a tremendous value to our ShoreTel customers, to ShoreTel and to our company. We feel this is of such importance that we should schedule these meetings more frequently than once per year to allow more users to find the time in their busy work and personal schedules to attend. Therefore, I will be working with my team and ShoreTel to schedule a few regional meetings during the year to fill this need.

I welcome your suggestions.

Sincerely,

Paul Denaro, President
